Naga Bhut Jolokia Red (Ghost Chilli) CK - Seeds

The Naga Bhut Jolokia, also commonly knows as Ghost Chilli, is one of the hottest chillies in the world. It held the record for the world’s hottest chilli from 2007 to 2010. The heat doesn’t kick in straight away but when it does it will continue to intensify, or rather “bloom” for over 10 minutes, until it eventually subsides. It originates from Northern India and has been used there for generations. In the Assam language, “bhut” mean’s “ghost” which is why it is often referred to as “Ghost” chilli in the western world.

Flavour: Sweet and fruity, followed by extreme heat that intensifies for over 10 minutes. A great choice for making hot sauces or chilli flakes or chopping and adding to a big pot of stew. You only need a small amount to spice things up.

Heat Level (SHU): 850,000 to 1,100,000 Scoville Heat Units (Super Hot!)
